Dimitra holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University. With a solid foundation in psychology, and experience as a community health advocate, Dimitra understands the value of patient-practitioner alliance. Motivated by a philosophy of patient empowerment, she provides client-centered care through education, exercise, and manual therapy.

In addition to being co-captain of the University of King’s College varsity soccer team, Dimitra was very involved in volunteering her time for various initiatives and committees. Her commitment to community involvement is central to her life. Her efforts to give back and academic achievements were recognized through her nomination to be a Rhodes Scholarship Finalist in Canada.

Dimitra has completed post graduate education through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, partaking in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) physiotherapy program.

Born and raised in Halifax, Dimitra loves all things Nova Scotia, especially seafood and nature. In her spare time, she plays soccer, and adventuring with her Australian Labradoodle, Baillie.
