Ben is originally from the Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and moved to Nova Scotia at a young age. He was a competitive gymnast for 10 years competing at several Canadian National championships, the 2015 Canada Winter Games, and other elite level competitions in Canada. In his spare time, Ben enjoys strength training, running, and travelling. He also sits on the executive board of the Nova Scotia Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
